THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h17)
b)	Permission was granted for both JAMES FITZJAMES (S Naidoo) and POLYNOMIAL (C Zackey) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	FINAL TRY (R Fourie) was hanging in badly from the 300m and proved difficult to assist.
d)	JAMES FITZJAMES (S Naidoo) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m.
e)	Jockey C Habib reported that KEY NEWS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
f)	In view of the performance of POLYNOMIAL (C Zackey), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
	Assistant Trainer DG Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables.
