THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PANNING GOLD (*K J Lihaba) was slow losing one length. b) MIZZEN SWORD (J Penny) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SALT LAKE CITY (G Lerena) over-raced in the early stages and thereafter tired badly in the concluding stages. In view of the performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Apprentice K J Lihaba (PANNING GOLD ) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Apprentice K J Lihaba reported that PANNING GOLD did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) GREENLIGHT RACER (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) SALT LAKE CITY examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) PANNING GOLD lame left front.
