b)	Permission was granted for WISSA'S ON FIRE (M van Rensburg) and MIGHTY MAC (W Agrella) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	Shortly after the start ROTOTO (MK Katjedi) was buffeted between RUN THE WORLD (E Webber) and WISSA'S ON FIRE (M van Rensburg), which jumped awkwardly outwards.
d)	WISSA'S ON FIRE (M van Rensburg) shifted out away from the crop from the 300m and was corrected at the 200m.

f)	Jockey C Zackey reported that ICE CAP coughed post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
g) When questioned regarding the improved performance of KING RAHUL compared to its previous race, Trainer Oosthuizen explained to the Board that he had tried different racing tactics on that occasion and had raced on the turf. In today's race, he was back on the polytrack and had raced handy and, in his opinion, that accounted for the improved performance. He further advised the Board that he intends to race this horse on the polytrack in future engagements. However, if he does run this gelding on the turf track, it would be over a shorter distance. Trainer Oosthuizen's explanation was noted.
h)	KING RAHUL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. (LM)
