THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	HALCYON (C Murray) was slow into stride. 
b)	HOUSE OF SUSSEX (*J Botes) jumped awkwardly.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h57)
b)	The start of this race was delayed due to a technical issue in the Stewards boardroom. 
c)	AADEHYA (*N Nastili) stumbled shortly after the start and thereafter, AADEHYA (*N Nastili) was hanging in from the 400m.
d)	WORDSWORTH (*G Dookhit) shifted out away from the crop from the 300m and thereafter continued to shift outwards until the finish.
e)	GALILEO START (C Jackey) was hanging out from the 250m. Thereafter, Jockey C Zackey (GALILEO START) dropped his crop at the 150m.
f)	RAVILIOUS (*B Soodoo) was hanging in from the 250m and proved difficult to assist. 
g) 	SEATTLE RIPPER (M Yeni) was hanging out from the 250m and was corrected shortly before the finish.
h) 	Jockey C Zackey reported that GALILEO STAR took a number of awkward strides in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
i)	Trainer JVA Strydom was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented CASINO ACE incorrectly shod in the parade ring. Trainer JVA Strydom signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R2500.00.
j)	BUFFALO BILL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing was advised. (LM)
