THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLYING SOUTH (C Little) was stubborn loading. b) PEACEFUL DUCHESS (O Noach) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. c) KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length. d) LADY OF FATE (*V Jodhee) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 200m REDLIGHT LANE (JP van der Merwe) shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened. b) INNERBLOOM (*N Yuen) raced green and had to be straightened on a number of occasions in the straight. c) WYZE DECLARATION dislodged Jockey A Domeyer in the pull-up area. d) In view of the debut performance of PEACEFUL DUCHESS (O Noach), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding FLYING SOUTH (C Little), Trainer GS Kotzen will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) FLYING SOUTH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GS Kotzen was advised.
