Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	THUNEE PLAYA (KA Brewer) was stubborn loading and thereafter, jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.
b)	CHESTNUT BOMBER (L Nhlapo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	As HOTARUBI walked onto the course to parade, he reared, dislodged Apprentice G Samo-Burthia and fell over. This gelding was immediately taken in hand, reunited with Apprentice G Samo-Burthia, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race. 
b)	THUNEE PLAYER jumped awkwardly, which resulted in Jockey KA Brewer becoming momentarily unbalanced.
c)	Apprentice G Samo-Burthia did not persevere with his riding of HOTARUBI from the 500m and thereafter reported that this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	OLIVIA'S WAY (M Yeni) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages.

e)	In view of the performances of FUTURE PEARL (C Zackey) and POETS WARRIOR (K Matsunyane), which tired quickly in the concluding stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. 
f)	THUNEE PLAYA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Pandaram was advised. (MdP)
