Stipes Report
On arrival at the start, PRINCESS GOLDIE (A Mgudlwa) was subjected to a Veterinary examination. This caused the delay. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) Approaching the 800m, Apprentice D Louw (FASCINATION) had difficulty in maintaining secure footing to his right-side stirrup iron. b) Leaving the 100m, EMERALD QUEEN (*B Marx-Jacobson) which commenced to hang in and rolled in, was directed outwards away from IZIBULO (S Veale) which was encouraged outwards away from the heels of ZENA ROSE (*M Mbuto) which had come to the end of its run. This resulted in EMERALD GREEN (B Marx-Jacobson) and IZIBULO (S Veale) racing in restricted room between ZENA ROSE (*M Mbuto) which was carried out marginally by FASCINATION (*D Louw) which rolled out and ARE YOU SURE (S Khumalo) which shifted in marginally away from the crop. As a consequence, EMERALD GREEN (*B Marx-Jacobson) was steadied in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of ARE YOU SURE (S Khumalo). c) QUEEN BRAGANZA (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee T Nzilane acting on behalf of Trainers M/M de Kock was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) ZENA ROSE raced equipped with a compression mask (advised 30.10.2025/09h59).
