THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) An Inquiry will be opened into why TRAFALGAR SQUARE (*G Samo-Burthia) brushed the inside running rail and UNICORN ALERT (*J Botes) clipped the heels of BARRY DU GROND (*D D Louw) at the 900m. b) MC DAZZLER (*V Jodhee) hung in from the 300m. Thereafter Apprentice V Jodhee reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) PHUTULICOUS (*D Pillay), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright was advised (MM).
