THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	ROSE WILLOW (*P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	DAME OF FLAMES (R Munger) and MODE (*J Solomons) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Shortly after the start, MODE (*J Solomons) which jumped awkwardly, was bumped in by TWICE THE ACT (D Schwarz) which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	TALLINN (R Fourie) which commenced to over-race, raced awkwardly with its head up in the early stages.

 
c)	Jockey C Zackey reported that HALLOWEEN changed stride continually in the concluding stages.  In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	Jockey W Kennedy reported that SO THEY SAY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	HIGH BORN LADY (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer A Azzie advised (LN).
