Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GALLIC FORGE (L Mxothwa) was fractious behind the stalls and proved difficult to load.
b)	MONT LOISIR (*B Plaatjies) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start UMZINGELI WENYATHI was brushed on the hindquarters by TRIPPI'S SILK (A Domeyer), which shifted in leaving the stalls.
b) 	Approaching the 200m TRIPPI'S SILK (A Domeyer) and SIRIANO (R Fourie) brushed when SIRIANO (R Fourie) was directed outwards and into clear running.
c)	MONT LOISIR (*B Plaatjies) was hanging out throughout. 
d)	Jockey G Wright reported that HEAR MY VOICE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
e)	PARATROOPER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (SC)
