THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TRIPPI T (C Habib) was stubborn to load. b) MFETHU (S Veale) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) Shortly after the start RAINBOW REWARD (*S Valjalo) was brushed by MFETHU (S Veale) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) AXIS POWER (S Hlengwa) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) Jockey C Habib did not persevere with his riding from the 200m and thereafter Jockey Habib reported that TRIPPI T did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) UNITED NATION (*M Mbuto), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D W Moore was advised (DZ).
