THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) Shortly after the start FORWARD MOTION (M Yeni), LADYOFDISTINCTION (R A Venniker) and LUCRATIVE (C Zackey) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between TOMYRIS (S Khumalo) which jumped outwards and AMELIA'S LEGACY (S Veale) which jumped inwards, leaving the starting stalls. b) Entering the straight LIMITLESS SKY (C Habib) was brushed out by TOMYRIS (S Khumalo) which rolled out. c) In the concluding stages AMELIA'S LEGACY (S Veale) was carried out marginally by LADYOFDISTINCTION (R A Venniker) which rolled out. d) The Board have adjourned to review Jockey S Veale's (AMELIA'S LEGACY) crop use in this race. e) In view of the performances of PERILLA (K de Melo) (6.50 lengths, 14/1 in the betting) and REGENERATION (*D Pillay) (6.40 lengths, 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) LADYOFDISTINCTION (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
