a)	JERUSALEMA RAIN (M Michel) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	LITTLE BALLERINA (RA Venniker) was slow into stride.	 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At approximately the 300m JERUSALEMA RAIN (M Michel) was steadied and switched in when awkwardly placed between ELEGANT ICE (C Zackey) and CHIEFTAIN (K de Melo). As a consequence, WILLIAM ROBERTSON (*T Mayhew) was carried in marginally. 
b)	Approaching the 200m, when racing in close proximity, COSMIC STAR (M Yeni) and MAGIC TATTOO (MK Katjedi) came together and brushed on two occasions. 
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with CHIEFTAIN. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.	
d)	TAXI TO THE MOON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AP Peter was advised. (MS)
