THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	IMILENZEYOKUDUDUMA (S Veale) lost 1 length. 
b)	ROYAL VICTORY (C Little) refused to jump.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded (14h39).
b)	A Race Review was called into the start of this Race where, after reviewing the footage to the start, it was established that as the gates were released ROYAL VICTORY (C Little) took a couple of steps out of the stalls and thereafter refused to gallop. The Board was satisfied that ROYAL VICTORY (C Little) had suffered no impediment and declared ROYAL VICTORY (C Little) a runner. 
c)	Leaving the 350m TROIS TROIS QUATRE (A Mgudlwa) was eased when racing in restricted room between the inside running rail and the heels of JOHNNY THE THIEF (N Patel) which rolled in and was immediately corrected.
d)	At the 300m FRENCH TRIP (*M Mbuto) shifted out away from the crop and was immediately corrected.
e)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to ROYAL VICTORY (C Little), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day.  (Suspension dates: 12.01.2026 to the 18.01.2026). ROYAL VICTORY may not be presented for re-passing during this period.  Trainer N Kotzen will be advised. 
f)	DOWN BY THE RIVER (C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer  K Naidoo was advised (DZ).
