THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KILDONAN BAY (*K Brewer) was restless in the stalls. b) MABONENG (D Dillon) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) During the loading process, KILDONAN BAY (*K Brewer) dropped its head on a number of occasions and had to be corrected by the handler who was allocated to this mare. b) Apprentice R Venniker (SNOW TUNE) accidentally dropped her crop at the 250m. c) SNOW TUNE (*R Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) DESERT PRIDE raced with a compression mask. b) SNOW TUNE Apprentice R Venniker claimed 1kg of the 1.5kg apprentice allowance and weighed out at 54.3kg.
