The start of this race was delayed due to the late Veterinary examination and subsequent withdrawal of ROSA OSIRIA (*G Samo-Burthia) at the start. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LOU LOU (R A Venniker) was stubborn to load. b) NEBULOUS (K de Melo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) At the 150m STAMPEDE AHEAD (S Moodley) was steadied and thereafter directed in away from the heels of CARTEL QUEEN (C Habib) which rolled out. c) NEBULOUS (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Fripp acting on behalf of Trainer C Bass was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) WINTER MIRACLE raced equipped with blinkers and a tongue tie, without a compression mask and ear muffs (advised 26.01.2026/09h40). b) ROY'S BLOSSOM raced equipped with blinkers (advised 24.01.2026/14h51).
