a)	HARUN AL RASHID (S Khumalo) was stubborn to load.
b)	MAGMA MAGIC (*MMbuto), TIRPITZ (M Michel), JAZZ CAFE (J Jacobs) and TAKE NO PRIONERS (C Murray) lost 1 length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels after INDUSTRIALSTRENGTH and TOBACCONIST  passed after a second test.
b)	The All Clear was delayed due to the Judges and the Stewards satisfying themselves as to the correctness of the placings. 
c)	MAGMA MAGIC (*M Mbuto), COWDRAY PARK (R A Venniker) and PLAZA ACCORD (T Godden) over-raced in the early stages.
d)	Jockey C Murray did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter Jockey Murray reported that he felt something amiss with TAKE NO PRISONERS in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this gelding is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. 
e)	Apprentice D D Louw (TOBACCONIST) accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m. 
f)	CLEARTHERUNWAY (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon was advised (MM).
