The start of this race was delayed due to the post-race proceedings of Race 5. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TROIS TROIS QUATRE (C Zackey) and SYX HOTFIX (C Habib) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels after SYX HOTFIX passed following a second test. b) The saddle on SUNDANCE KID (*D D Louw) slipped backwards in the running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. c) ISIVIVANE (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
