Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	On arrival at the start, Jockey L Mxothwa expressed concern with the action of FARAWAY GIRL while proceeding to the start. This filly was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn.
b)	PENNY'S WORLD (M Mjoka) and JAPANESE GARDEN (*N Nastili) were stubborn loading.
c)	DYNASTY'S LAST (*W Fourie) jumped awkwardly, losing two to three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.
d)	ENDEARED (*G Dookhit) jumped slow, losing one length.
e)	ALEX MILLER (M van Rensburg) and BETWEEN THE LINES (*B Soodoo) were slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h56)
b)	Apprentice J Botes (BLOWING IN THE WIND) was granted permission to hack his mount to the start.
c)	STAR OF ELENA (S Naidoo) had to be steadied momentarily and was switched out for a clear run at the 300m and again shortly before the finish line.
d)	CHERRY OH BABY (*I Taka) was hanging in from the 300m.
	Apprentice I Take appeared before the Board and was warned against the manner in which he used his crop 	when his hands are on the reins.
e)	ENDEARED (*G Dookhit) had to be steadied momentarily at the 250m.
f)	ALEX MILLER (M van Rensburg) was hanging in in the latter stages. 
g)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that ALEX MILLER changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
h)	Apprentice W Fourie reported that DYNASTY'S LAST did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
i)	CHERRY OH BABY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
