THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TWELFTH OF NEVER (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BLOOD OF EDEN (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) FUTURE GAMBLE (C Murray) hung in in the concluding stages. c) In view of the performance of WITHOUT REMORSE (C Zackey), (distance 25/2 lengths, betting 19,75), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with KEEP WARM in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with RED ENCHANTRESS in running.
