Stipes Report

THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE TONGUE TIE ON QUANTUM THEORY (C ZACKEY) HAVING TO BE REFITTED AT THE START. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	QUANTUM THEORY (C Zackey) and COSMIC STAR (M Yeni) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b)	CHOCOLATE SOLDIER (*T Mayhew) hung in in the concluding stages. 
c)	In the concluding stages, TRUTH (S Moodley) was steadied when tightened for galloping room between MOVER AND SHAKER (*M Mbuto) and WILLIAM ROBERTSON (R Munger), which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter, as a consequence, TRUTH (S Moodley) was awkwardly placed on the heels of WILLIAM ROBERTSON (R Munger), which resulted in Jockey S Moodley (TRUTH) being unable to ride this gelding out to the end of the race. 
d)	In view of the performance of WINDS OF CHANGE (K Matsunyane), (distance 11.85 lengths, betting 50/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
e)	Jockey R Danielson reported that he felt something amiss with ZIYASHA in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
f)	Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with QUANTUM THEORY in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 		
g)	WILLIAM ROBERTSON (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

h)	TAXI TO THE MOON (G Lerena), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
