b)	Leaving the starting stalls, KINSHIN SHA (J Gates) was briefly buffeted between LOVE MY STYLE (J Jacobs) and GRAND FORCE (*M Mbuto).
c)	At the 500m, GRAND FORCE (*M Mbuto) was steadied and unbalanced when awkwardly placed between INTREPID (K de Melo) and TOP GUN (*D Pillay) which rolled in.
d)	Leaving the 400m, TOP GUN (*D Pillay) was eased momentarily when awkwardly placed between the heels of GRAND FORCE (*M Mbuto) and the heels of GLOBAL MOVEMENT (S Khumalo) which shifted in marginally. 
e)	YANNAKIS (*D Ramkhalawon) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages.
f)	Jockey C Little reported that DEFINITELY YES coughed post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
g)	Jockey K de Melo reported that INTREPID took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
h)	In view of the performance of L'ULTIMO (R Venniker) (6.50 lengths, 10/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
