THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	INDESTRUCTABLE (G Wright) was stubborn loading.
b)	HERE COMES JOHNNY (C Zackey) and WARRIOR'S SWORD (*W Fourie) were nervous in the stalls.
c)	DEAD POETS SOCIETY (*I Taka) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h16)
b)	Permission was granted for WARRIOR'S SWORD (*W Fourie) and FONTE (C Little) to be assisted by a lead 	pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	Jockey M Yeni arrived late in the parade ring as he had been selected for the random taking of samples for 	analysis and he had been detained briefly by the Medical Officer.
d)	INDESTRUCTIBLE (G Wright) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m.
e)	ANGEL BOY J (J Gates) was hanging out from the 300m.
f)	WARRIOR'S SWORD (*W Fourie) shifted out away from the crop from the 250m.
g)	ATLANTIC PEARL (M Yeni) was hanging in badly throughout.
h)	Jockeys C Maujean (TOMAHAWK BILL) and MK Katjedi (STAR TROOPER) reported that their respective 	mounts did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
	Trainer DA McKenzie was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with TOMAHAWK BILL on his 	return to the stables.
i)	Jockey J Gates reported that ANGEL BOY J made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
j)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding INDESTRUCTABLE (G Wright), Trainer JL van Heerden will be 	advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
k)	ATLANTIC PEARL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley 	was advised. (LM)
