THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DAS GUTE (C Habib) and REAL WAR (X Ndlovu) were restless in the stalls, were taken out and reloaded.
b)	HOODWINKED (MK Katjedi) got his leg stuck on the running board in the starting stalls.
c)	B FIFTYTWO (M Yeni) jumped awkwardly outwards.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h31)
b)	Permission was granted for WORLD PHAROAH (S Khathi) and RHYTHM (C Zackey) to be assisted by a lead 	pony when proceeding to the start.		
c)	TRAVEL MASTER (R Fourie) was hanging out throughout. 
d)	MUNCHKIN (*G Dookhit) was hanging out throughout and thereafter Apprentice G Dookhit reported that this 	gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
	Trainer DG Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to 	the stables.
e)	TEEREX, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley was 	advised. (LM)
