d)	Jockey R A Venniker reported that JANE'S VISION took an awkward stride at the 800m. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with POETIC PRINCESS in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f)	In view of the performance of PROFESSOR LUPIN (K de Melo) (4.00 lengths and 7/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
g)	Apprentice D Ramkhalawon signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2., (Appendix E; Guideline C) in that he as the rider of BLESS ME FRED misused his crop by striking this filly more than two times on consecutive strides in the concluding stages of this race. Accordingly, a penalty of R1000 was imposed. 
h)	ARVERNI PRINCESS (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L W Goosen was advised (DZ).
