THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At approximately the 400m, WE ALL CHOMIES (*K Brewer) was brushed out by GREEN DREAM (S Moodley) which rolled out. b) Approaching the 200m, QUEST FOR THE BEST (*M Zuma) was carried in marginally by HIGH VELOCITY (A Mgudlwa) which shifted in away from the crop. c) Jockey W Kennedy reported that VEGAS GOLD did not stride out freely in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his mount from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) LIFE GOES ON (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) NORTHERN ROUTE was ridden by Apprentice S Hlengwa (claiming 4kg) (advised 02.05.22/8h08). b) GREEN DREAM raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 22.04.22/8h40) and this mare was ridden by Jockey S Moodley. c) GIMME A RAINBOW raced with a compression mask. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
