THE STARTER REPORTED A) DIAMONDS AND TOADS, MISS VENEZUELA and TIME OFF were slow into stride. B) BUTTERCUP jumped outwards leaving the stalls and bumped AUTUMN SKY. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) MISS OTIS (*K Strydom) pulled hard in the early stages. B) GILLIAN ANNE (*K A Brewer) and VIHZOE'S MAGIC (F Herholdt) raced wide on the bend. C) SHINE A LIGHT (*R A Venniker) was held up for clear run between the 300m and the 150m. D) VIHZOE'S MAGIC (F Herholdt) was hanging in, in the straight and proved difficult to assist. In view of this report, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) Jockey J Mphanya reported that he felt something amiss with AUTUMN SKY in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. F) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning AUTUMN SKY (J Mphanya), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
