THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	POLAR WORLD (A Domeyer) refused to load and was withdrawn, causing a delay.
b)	PERFECT TRUST (R Fourie) jumped inwards.
c)	NOBLE GRACE (C Orffer) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 
 
a)	Leaving the 400m PERFECT TRUST (R Fourie) had to be steadied away from the heels of FLY TO RIO (J Jacobs) which shifted out. Jockey J Jacobs appeared before the Board and was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
b)	PERFECT TRUST (R Fourie) was hanging out from the 300m.
c)	Approaching the 250m MAGNETIC DIME (G van Niekerk) was directed to the outside of LITTLE DOE (K de Melo) to secure clear running.
d)	Jockey C Bantam reported that BLACK PATH, which was hanging out, proved difficult to ride and he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	In view of the report from the starter regarding POLAR WORLD (A Domeyer), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 19/05/2022 to 25/05/2022 inclusive). POLAR WORLD may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
f)	BONIKA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer D McLachlan, acting on behalf of Trainer GS Kotzen, was advised. (SC)
