THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A WHOLE NEW WORLD (J Gates) which shifted out away from the crop and TECHNO SAVVY (T Godden) which was hanging in, came together and brushed on a number of occasions from the 300m. b) STANLEY (M Mjoka) was hanging in from the 300m. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with BUGSY MALONE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BUGSY MALONE (C Zackey), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer D Bosch was advised. (Suspension Dates : 19.07.22 - 16.09.22, bdi) e) CAPE EAGLE (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
