Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) The bridle on QUEEN LOUISE (X Ndlovu) came off during the loading process and had to be re-fitted. MRS HOTLINE (S Khumalo) stood awkwardly in the stalls and was slow into stride. b) SPACE ODDITY (*MH Zuma) jumped inwards. c) ANATURA (E Webber) was slow into stride. d) PINCH ME (S Khathi) kicked the back gate of the starting stalls and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start MRS HOTLINE (S Khumalo) was squeezed out, losing position between WINTERTIME (T Gould) and ANATURA (E Webber) which was carried in by GET IT DONE (L Mxothwa), which was carried in by SPACE ODDITY (*MH Zuma), which jumped inward. b) MRS HOTLINE (S Khumalo) had difficulty securing clear running in the early part of the straight. c) ANATURA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised.
