THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ROY'S BOLT (*D Geerthsen) over-raced in the early and middle stages and was difficult to settle. b) At the 300m, BLAZING LIGHT (S Veale) was carried in slightly by MRS SHELBY (A Arries) which shifted in. c) BLAZING LIGHT (S Veale) shifted both ways away from the crop between the 250m and the 50m. d) At the 150m, MRS SHELBY (A Arries) was carried out by BLAZING LIGHT (S Veale) which shifted out away from the crop. e) BELLE'S FIRST WAVE (*G Pieterse) shifted out away from the crop approaching the 100m. f) TAKE TO WAR (S Moodley) was inconvenienced on the inside of OSCEOLA (C Ngcobo) which shifted in, in the concluding stages. g) OSCEOLA (C Ngcobo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
