THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TABEBUIA (R Khathi) fly-jumped leaving the starting stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. b) SPECIAL CHARM (*M Katjedi), EVENTIDOR (K de Melo) and WIIDSKI (*R Venniker) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WIIDSKI (*R Venniker) raced wide in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this gelding was hanging in from the top of the straight. b) Trainer D Campbell appeared before the Board was questioned with regard to the improved performance of TOM'S ACT (M Yeni), the winner, compared to this gelding's previous performances. Mr Campbell could offer no suitable explanation and his attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to in and out running. c) TOM'S ACT (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D I Campbell advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) WILDSKI raced with a compression mask (advised 31.08.22/13h50). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
