THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MORGAN LA FAY (C Habib) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, NKALANZINZI (*M Katjedi) was brushed out by AISLING (K Matsunyane) which jumped outwards. b) Jockey C Ngcobo reported that he felt something amiss with BONNE BOUCHE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BONNE BOUCHE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting on behalf of Trainer G S Kotzen was advised. (Suspension Dates : 18.10.22 - 16.12.22, bdi) d) AISLING (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Naidoo advised (DZ).
