a)	The tongue tie on BARNEY MCGREW (C Zackey) was re-fitted at the start, causing a delay.
b)	DRAGONFLY (A Domeyer) was slow into stride.
c)	RAGNAR LOTHBROK (C Orffer) jumped awkwardly.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey A Domeyer reported that he felt something amiss with DRAGONFLY, which was hanging in from the 400m and proved difficult to ride. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that THE SECOND WAVE changed stride continually in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	In view of the performance of DEAN STREET (C Habib), which raced with an awkward head carriage while attempting to get cover in the early stages, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	SUN DAZED, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised. (JF)
