THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Shortly after the start, FIFTH OF JULY (D De Gouveia) and ALFAATIK (R Simons) came together and brushed.
b)	RUN AS ONE (R Danielson) over-raced in the early stages.
c)	GREAT AFFAIR (R Munger) and BANHA BRIDGE (K de Melo) brushed on two occasions approaching the 300m.
d) 	Jockey G Lerena reported that THE BRIEF did not stride out freely in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	In view of the performances of FIFTH OF JULY (D De Gouveia) (betting 5/1, distance 7,25 lengths) and ALFAATIK (R Simons) (betting 5/1, distance 6,50 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses.
