THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	LUNARCAM (K de Melo) and ALL LIT UP (O Noach) were restless in the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	For a short distance approaching the 200m ELUSIVE TRADER (*J Solomons) raced in restricted galloping room between DOUBLE CHARGE (G van Niekerk) and DANCE VARIETY (S Veale), which was hanging in.
b)	At the 200m BARNEY MCGREW (R Fourie) had to be checked away from the heels of LUNARCAM (K de Melo) when tightened for galloping room between LOVE IN WINTER (C Orffer) and LUNARCAM (K de Melo). An Inquiry will be opened into this incident.
c)	THUNDER MASTER (C Bantam) was hanging out throughout.
d)	Jockey K de Melo reported that LUNARCAM changed stride continually in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	LOVE IN WINTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (CvA)
