THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GENTLEMAN'S WAY (M Yeni) refused to load and was withdrawn. b) METALLIC GOLD (A Arries) became restless as the start was effected losing 1 length. c) STANLEY PARK (A Mgudlwa) and FLYING PETER (S Moodley) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Jockey S Moodley reported that he felt something amiss with FLYING PETER in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey R Fourie (PURPLE OPERATOR) and Jockey A Mgudlwa (STANLEY PARK) reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GENTLEMAN'S WAY (M Yeni), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 30 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. (Suspension dates: 08.11.22 to the 07.12.22. GENTLEMAN'S WAY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D Bosch was advised.
