THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	STRANGE MAGIC (K de Melo) was slow into stride. 
b)	TINDER DRY (S Khumalo) was slow losing one length.
c)	QUIET REBELLION (K Matsunyane) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Shortly after the start, STRANGE MAGIC (K de Melo) was bumped in by QUIET REBELLION (K Matsunyane) which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	Shortly after the start, TINDER DRY (S Khumalo) was switched in sharply from a wide draw to obtain a position on the inside running rail.
c)	Apprentice G Pieterse did not persevere with his riding from the 600m, and thereafter reported that he felt something amiss with ZANOBIAN PRINCESS in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that TINDER DRY changed stride continually in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that KARIN'S LEGACY pulled up distressed.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	PASCHALS SAMORE (M Thackeray) the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer W C Marwing advised (MdP).
g)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning ZANOBIAN PRINCESS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended from racing for a period of one hundred and twenty days (120) (2nd episode) in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.  Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen advised (NHA).
