Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	LA VIDA (T Gould) was nervous in the stalls.
b)	EASY LIVING (JP van der Merwe) kicked the back gates in the starting stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	RUNNINGFORTHESTARS (Y Ramzan) proved difficult to saddle and was late leaving the parade ring, causing a delay.
b)	EASY LIVING (JP van der Merwe) jumped outwards, bumped SAVANNAH WINTER (X Ndlovu) and then had to be steadied off the heels of LA VIDA (T Gould), which was carried outwards by QUENANZA (M Mjoka) which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c) 	WAYA YIRE (S Khathi) raced wide on the bend.
d)	FOR ALL WE KNOW (R Fourie) was unable to secure clear running between the inside running rail and ISN'T IT BLISS (E Webber) had to be steadied and shifted out leaving the 100m.
e)	The saddle on CHERE FOR ME slipped back badly in running, resulting in Jockey D Ashby being unable to assist this filly throughout. This was confirmed by a Stipendiary Steward.
f)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that EASY LIVING did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	PRINCESS DEB'S, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DA McKenzie was advised (LM).
