THE STARTER REPORTED: a) I WANT IT ALL (B Fayd'Herbe) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to time constraints the runners and riders did not parade and cantered directly to the start. b) At the 300m AENEAS (G Wright) rolled in and brushed a tiring GLOBAL ALLY (L Mxothwa). c) GLOBAL ALLY (L Mxothwa), which raced without cover and proved difficult to settle, tired quickly from the 300m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) ROYAL WATCH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
