Trainer E Verdonese was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (JB). b) SUDDEN STAR (*S Sosibo) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, SAVANNAH STORM (R Munger) was bumped by PLATINUM SKY (K de Melo), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SUDDEN STAR (*S Sosibo) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) PLATINUM SKY (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
