THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GRACE DE SILVER (J Penny) was restless in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. b) SLINKY MAPIMPI (R Munger) and CASH SLIP (R Simons) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) AIR FUSION (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, FAST DUTY (K Matsunyane) was buffeted between AIR FUSION (G Lerena), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and CASH SLIP (R Simons), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) In the concluding stages, GRACE DE SILVER (J Penny), which hung out from the 300m, and MOON VALLEY (*M K Katjedi), which commenced to hang in, came together and brushed. c) SLINKY MAPIMPI (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
