THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	QUANDARY (A Mgudlwa) stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer G van Zyl, acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr), was advised (GT).

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	As the start was effected, MILLAHUE (K de Melo) was bumped out by RAIN OR SHINE (C Maujean), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
b)	At approximately the 300m, MILLAHUE (K de Melo) was switched out to avoid running onto the heels of WRITTEN IN STONE (*D B Geerthsen), which had come to the end of its run.	
c)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to QUANDARY, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 26 April 2023 to 2 May 2023.  QUANDARY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer G van Zyl, acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr), was advised.	
d)	TIZONA (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
