THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	TINY DANCER (F Herholdt) was squeezed out shortly after the start.
b)	SOUTHERN STYLE (R Munger) and LIEFDESONDEREINDE (J R Syster) were slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	PUNTA ALTA (*P Mxoli) over-raced in the early stages and as a consequence, proved difficult negotiating the turn.
b)	In view of the performance of AZUCAR (*K A Brewer), (distance 6,50 lengths, betting 18/10), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
	Trainer W H Marwing was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of AZUCAR on return to stables. 	
c)	Jockey M Yeni reported that DAMNED IF I DO did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
d)	Jockey F Herholdt reported that TINY DANCER changed stride continually in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
e)	GHOST SHIP (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
Trainer A P Peter advised (MduP).
When questioned regarding the improved performance of GHOST SHIP (C Zackey), Trainer A P Peter explained to the Board that in this filly's run on 4 February 2023, she had over-raced equipped with blinkers and had tired badly. They had removed the blinkers for today's race and this, in his opinion, had accounted for the improved performance. Trainer A P Peter has undertaken to race this filly similarly equipped in future.
f)	UNITED'S RANSOM, placed fifth, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

a)	ALL RISE was ridden by Jockey	G Pieterse (declared 27 April 2023 at 08H54).
