THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MASTER VISION (S Khumalo) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LORD WYLIE (*R Venniker), BANZAI PIPELINE (*K Strydom) and WINTER AIR (S Moodley) over-raced in the early stages. b) PASHTUNWALI (C Zackey), RADAMES (D De Gouveia) and MASTER VISION (S Khumalo) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) Leaving the 800m, TOM BOMBADIL (K Sakayi) was carried out by MASTER VISION (S Khumalo) which shifted out when racing onto heels. d) Jockey D Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with LETABA in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of WINTER AIR (S Moodley) (3.70 lengths, 33/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) LOVE ON TIME (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
