THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GREAT AFFAIR (*S Hlengwa), ARDEN PARK (*R A Venniker), TIME SPIRIT (N Klink) and GO DREAM MACHINE (C F Dicken) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ANGEL'S WISH (*D B Geerthsen) hung in from the 400m. b) TIME SPIRIT (N Klink) hung in from the 300m. c) Apprentice P Mxoli (PACIFIC EXPRESS) did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Thereafter, Apprentice P Mxoli reported that PACIFIC EXPRESS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) An inquiry will be held into Jockey N Klink's (TIME SPIRIT) use of the crop. e) TIME SPIRIT (N Klink), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
