THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	TYPEFACE (O Noach) and DOUBLE CHECK (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start TYPEFACE (O Noach) was steadied when racing tight between BYE BYE BOMBSHELL (R Fourie) and FLOWER OF SAIGON (C Zackey).
b)	Approaching the 700m BYE BYE BOMBSHELL (R Fourie) shifted in towards the inside running rail, had to be corrected and lost all momentum. Thereafter, Jockey R Fourie reported that this filly changed stride continually, did not respond to his urgings and he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
c)	SUPREME DREAM, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford was advised. (SC)
