THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Between the 250m and 200m CAITLYNS BOY (R Fourie) shifted both ways away from the crop and had to be straightened.
b)	Jockeys JP van der Merwe and R Fourie, the riders of SAND BANK and CAITLYNS BOY respectively reported that they felt something amiss with these geldings. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine.
c)	Jockey K Minnie reported that UNCLE TICKY BIRD did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	SON OF ZEUS (R Danielson) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J Batt)
