THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	A fair start.
 


THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	FLYING BULL (S Khumalo) was unbalanced shortly after the start when it was bumped by GLOBAL IMPACT (G Pieterse) which jumped inwards. During this incident QUASIFORSURE (G van Niekerk) and WINCHESTER MANSION (K Matsunyane) bumped, were squeezed out and lost position as a result.
b)	LORD WILLIAM (S Moodley) commenced to over-race in the middle stages.
c)	At the 100m, UNION SQUARE (C Zackey) which shifted out slightly away from the crop had to be steadied to avoid the heels of CAPE EAGLE (R Khathi) which shifted in away from the crop.
d)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that FLYING BULL did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	WINCHESTER MANSION (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford advised (NS).
f)	GLOBAL IMPACT (G Pieterse), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer  P F Matchett advised (NM ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	WINCHESTER MANSION raced equipped with cheek pieces (advised 09.06.23/08h28).
b)	Jockey R Khathi (CAPE EAGLE) weighed out at 54.6kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
