THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Leaving the starting stalls NAARAH (*S Hlengwa) was bumped in by LADY HEIST (S Moodley) which jumped inwards.
b)	THEORY OF FLIGHT (*T Mayhew) hung in from the 400m. Apprentice T Mayhew (THEORY OF FLIGHT) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride.
c)	PATRONAGE (*R A Venniker) hung out from the 300m.
d)	Leaving the 100m FATEFUL DAY (A Mgudlwa) switched in on the inside of PASSAGE OF POWER (S Khumalo) to continue its run.
e)	In view of the performance of THEORY OF FLIGHT (*T Mayhew) (12.50 lengths, 100/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
